Food Business Overview

Delicious and safe foods for your loved ones

In the food business, JT Group are striving to provide delicious foods that people can consume safely, while wishing to provide products that your loved ones want to eat. Focusing on three business areas — beverages, processed foods, and seasonings - we implement measures to establish the highest standard of safety management, and strive to further strengthen our business foundations for future growth.

Beverages business

Beverages business

In the beverages business, we aim to increase our presence in the market for coffee drinks, mainly canned coffee, by strengthening our flagship brand “Roots,” a brand which is acclaimed for its authentic taste of coffee created by JT's original technology, to mark the 10th anniversary of the brand. At the same time, we develop and launch products with a focus on differentiation and high quality, based on our superior technology and development capabilities.
We also aim to enhance our sales networks, led by Japan Beverage Holdings Inc., the subsidiary that is responsible for operating vending machines nationwide, and to provide conscientious service.

In the future, we will continue our efforts to expand the beverages business through these activities and take measures to strengthen our profitability.

Processed foods and seasonings businesses

Processed foods and seasoning businesses

We expand our business volume through strategic concentration of resources on high value-added products, including staple food products, such as frozen noodles, frozen and packed cooked rice and frozen bread, and yeast products, as we can make a maximum use of the technology and product in seasonings development power that the TableMark Group has nurtured in these fields.
We enhance our profitability by continuing efforts to strengthen the value chain in the whole business process, from procurement and manufacturing to sales, and by redoubling our efforts to improve our cost competitiveness.
