In Japan, we operate the JT Forests forest conservation initiative at seven locations across Japan (as of April 2026), supporting the creation of healthy forests while providing employees who participate in volunteer activities with opportunities to experience the importance of environmental conservation.
In 2025, 264 employees participated in volunteer activities. In a post-participation survey, many employees reported that participating in volunteer activities had made them more conscious of environmental conservation and increased their satisfaction with their work.
Feedback from employees volunteering at JT Forest
